Mediu Placement Tests
The Language Centre currently offers MAPT (Mediu Arabic Placement Test) and MEPT (Mediu English Placement Test)
The tests are administered to achieve the following objectives;
To define test takers range of mastery of the Arabic /English /language.
To gauge the magnitude of language comprehension.
To identify the range of vocabulary mastered by the test takers.
To identify the range of grammatical structures mastered by the test takers
To identify the range of language skills mastered by the test takers
To provide insights and guides for the commencement of a language proficiency course for the test takers
By taking these tests you can obtain an approximate rating of your language skills in the language that you are tested in.
The tests are held online under the inspection and supervision by MEDIU staff at the learning centre or any other venues arranged by MEDIU. Students are required to come to the nearest venue to sit for the test.
